Phyllanthus Mirabilis
Generally the entire genus of Phyllanthus, estimated at 750 to 1200, is known as the Leafflower. Phyllanthus Mirabilis is a deciduous shrub native to the Indochina region, with a particularly large population in Thailand. Its relatively oval-shaped leaves are variegated with coppery borders and undersides surrounding a deep green middle.
Phyllanthus Mirabilis does not bear flowers, in spite of its name, but it does have an intriguing above-ground woody caudex. Phyllanthus Mirabilis enjoys a rich soil consisting largely of peat or stone (or both), and it will be grateful for efficient draining. A low-lying tropical plant, it needs plenty of shade and plenty of humidity, the latter of which may need extra maintenance for owners in cool or dry climates. During summer, Phyllanthus Mirabilis ought to be watered at least once a day, but when the temperature drops to 10 degrees Celsius or beneath, owners should cease to water it.
