The succulent plant has been a popular variety for quite a while now and this doesn’t seem to be changing. Succulent plants come in a wide array of shapes, sizes and colours and are quite a low maintenance species of plant, making them attractive to many. Succulents are a collection of plants that use their thick and fleshy leaves to store water, which means they are able to generally thrive in hot and dry climates. The word succulent originates from the Latin word ‘Sucus’, which means sap or juice.
Jade Plant
Botanical Name: Crassula ovata
The Jade Plant is now seen as the old fashioned favourite of the succulent variety, mainly because it really easy to grow! It is a succulent plant and sometimes also referred to as a lucky plant or a money plant and is found commonly in households worldwide. If they are given the correct conditions they will produce white flowers in the winter months and also produce a mild but pleasant fragrance.
The Jade Plant is native to both Mozambique and South Africa and requires low levels of care and can even survive in most households without a great deal of watering. They will however prosper in conditions that see them receive four or more hours of sunlight a day and watered enough so that the soil remains moist, but watering only needs to be monthly during the winter months.
Plant Care
These succulents are total sun worshipers, so let them baste to their hearts content, just avoid them getting burnt though
If the soil looks like a desert with cracked ground, you’re too late. They may like the heat but also need to be hydrated to withstand it

Unlike real money, this little fella is pretty self sufficient. Just water and hope to get rich from it
